The staff at the guesthouse were very accommodating and informative, making the check-in process quick and easy. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Italian breakfast that was served every morning, including freshly baked panettone. Additionally, the location of the guesthouse was ideal as it was near the cemetery, which allowed for visits both during the day and at night. It was a unique experience to explore the cemetery during the evening hours when it was open 24/7.

A few small issues I encountered during my stay included the presence of black fungus on the inside shower door, which could be improved upon for better cleanliness. Additionally, more hooks in the shower area would have been helpful for hanging towels and clothes.

The location is convenient, with Hongakuin temple just a 5-minute drive away and Hachiyo within walking distance.

I recently stayed at Guesthouse Kokuu in Koyasan for a few nights. The staff were extremely helpful, giving us tips on where to go and what to do. The location was perfect, with most sites within walking distance and a bus stop nearby. The rooms were comfortable and the entire guesthouse was clean. We also enjoyed the reasonably priced dinner and breakfast options.
